Mr. Miller specializes in real estate and transactional law, with emphasis on representation of prominent local, national and international companies in connection with all aspects of real estate development, ownership and leasing. His practice includes the representation of landlords and tenants, buyers and sellers, lenders and borrowers and owners/developers in all aspects of real estate development, including construction contracts, architect's agreements, management contracts and CC&Rs. Mr. Miller is co-author of "Maximizing Asset Values in the Nineties," which appeared in The Institutional Real Estate Letter (Vol. 5, No. 4, April 1993). He recently spoke on key challenges for entertainment and new media tenants before the Los Angeles Commercial Realty Association conference in a program entitled, "Legal Issues in the New Millennium" and before the Landlord/Tenant Subsection of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of California in a program entitled, "Structuring Lease Transactions with High Tech Companies" and before the CLE International in a program entitled, "Key Work Letter Issues from Tenant Perspective." Mr. Miller belongs to the Digital Coast Roundtable, American Bar Association, State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Tufts University in 1984 and, in 1988, received his J.D. degree from the University of Chicago Law School.
